Wielorakie wykorzystanie obiektów w ogrodzie

Z pewnością da się uniknąć niepotrzebnych dodatkowych prac i związanych z nimi kosztów, jeśli zaplanujemy wszystko z myślą o przyszłości.

Planując urządzenie naszego ogrodu powinniśmy myśleć także o przyszłości. Czy warto co kilka lat w miarę jak dzieci rosną, wymieniać przyrządy do zabawy i urządzać wszystko na nowo. Obmyślając rozplanowanie miejsc do zabawy i wypoczynku w ogrodzie należy zawsze brać pod uwagę zmieniające się potrzeby rodziny. Jeśli uwzględniamy możliwość wielostronnego wykorzystania elementów urządzenia ogrodu, będziemy mogli cieszyć się nimi przez wiele lat np.

Utwardzony podjazd do garażu świetnie nadaje się do grania. Dach garażu odpowiednio przystosowany  i zabezpieczony balustradą  może służyć jako taras, miejsce do opalania lub odpoczynku przy kawie. Na tarasie można nie tylko siedzieć ale wykorzystać jako suszarnię lub miejsce do gry w tenisa stołowego. Jeżeli ułożymy płyty chodnika lub tarasu w szachownicę, wystarczy jeszcze wykonać figury szachowe i już można grać.

W naszych planach powinniśmy uwzględnić też nasze warunki pogodowe. Jeśli dom położony jest na spadzistym terenie albo sami zamierzamy wznieść pagórek, wtedy zimą nasze dzieci będą mogły szaleć na sankach a latem turlać się po trawie. Ogrodowa altana latem może służyć wszystkim członkom rodziny, jeśli tylko jest wystarczająco duża, zimą zaś będzie dobrym schowkiem na meble ogrodowe.

W naszych projektach należy też uwzględnić położenie słońca we wszystkich porach roku i dnia. Jest idealnie jeśli plac zabaw wiosną jest nasłoneczniony po południu, latem natomiast zacieniony przez pobliskie drzewa liściaste. Przed rozpoczęciem rozmieszczania urządzeń ogrodu najlepiej sporządzić szkic zacienienia przez dom i drzewa w różnych porach dnia i roku. Ulokowanie placu zabaw w pobliżu ogródka frontowego ma jeszcze i tą zaletę, że dzieci aby skorzystać z toalety czy dostać się do swoich pokojów, mogą wchodzić do domu przez drzwi frontowe i nie maszerują za każdym razem w zabłoconych butach przez pokoje i salon.
